Review guidelines
We welcome honest reviews from the families of our students.
- Who can review: a parent, guardian or family member of a current or former student, writing about their own experience.
- Be honest: reviews must describe your real experience. We never write reviews ourselves, pay for reviews or offer anything in exchange for a review, positive or negative.
- Mention connections: if you work for The Literacy Academy, or you're related to someone who does, please say so in your review.
- Protect privacy: please don't include your child's full name or anyone's personal information.
How we handle reviews. Every review is checked before it's posted, and we publish reviews whether they're positive or negative. We only leave out a review if it:
- includes someone's personal information or likeness, such as a child's full name;
- is defamatory, harassing, abusive, obscene, vulgar or sexually explicit;
- is discriminatory based on race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity or another personal characteristic;
- includes confidential or private business information;
- is clearly false or misleading, or appears to be fake;
- has nothing to do with our services.
We apply these rules the same way to every review.
Using your review: by sending a review, you allow us to show it on this website along with the name you entered, your relationship to the student, the grade (if given), your rating and the month it was posted. We don't change the wording of reviews. You can ask us to remove your review at any time.
